Mission Statement

Services for the DeafService for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Davidson County is a Non-profit United Way agency. Established in 1996 to provide information, referrals, and services to Davidson county citizens related to deafness and hearing loss, SDHHDC seeks to assist citizens in overcoming communication barriers and to advocate for accessibility.

Our Mission Statement

Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Davidson County (SDHHDC) shall provide information and coordinate a continuum of activities and services to the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind and hearing population of Davidson County. SDHHDC shall promote better relations and understanding among all community sectors in Davidson County.

SDHHDC will strive to achieve its goals through educational opportunities, volunteer services, a lending Library, and monetary grants for technological enhancements to qualified consumers.
